The next step will vary depending upon each financial institution’s respective comfort level.

Because of their existing relationship with their customers, many financial institutions will opt to utilize the training and marketing tools FiNet provides to stay front-and-center throughout this process — with support from their FiNet representative.

Other financial institutions choose to have their designated FiNet representative speak directly to the merchant prospect on their behalf.

Regardless of the scenario, the merchant will be contacted promptly and engaged in a thorough discussion regarding their needs and expectations for payment acceptance and business management. Only then can we determine the appropriate processing, product and equipment options and prepare a pricing proposal (using the pricing structure established for your program).

If the merchant is currently accepting payments and will provide statements, we’ll even prepare a free pricing comparison to show any savings they can realize from switching to your merchant services program.
